Christian Aid Week, 10th - 16th May ’21

Please donate here to help our brothers and sisters across the world. This year, we have our own e-envelope so that we can donate directly to Christian Aid as a church community and calculate how much we all raise. The target is £500 so please be generous if you can! You can also email the link to friends and relatives to get the message out.

Thoughts for the Week

“Every experience God gives us,
every person He puts in our lives, is
the perfect preparation for the future
only He can see.” Corrie Ten Boom
“Above all, trust in the slow work of
God.” Pierre Teilhard de Chardin

Lord, you have taught us that all our
doings without love are nothing
worth:
send your Holy Spirit and pour into
our hearts that most excellent gift of
love, the true bond of peace and of
all virtues, without which whoever
lives is counted dead before you.
Grant this for your only Son Jesus
Christ’s sake,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
Amen

Church finances

The limits of regular Sunday worship at Christ Church is having a significant impact on our regular income. We are not currently collecting ‘cash on the plate’ on Sundays. If you currently contribute in this way, please consider switching to standing order. Use the form here or contact your bank direct. You can also use this form if you would like to increase an existing standing order.
