We are a welcoming church with very strong community networks.
Our aim is to celebrate and share the Good News of God’s love for us in Christ through worship, teaching, learning, and practical action.

I follow three rules: do the right thing, do the best you can, and always show
people you care. (Lou Holtz)
You don’t learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing and falling over.
(Richard Branson)
Some rules are nothing but old habits that people are afraid to change.

A huge thanks to Riverside Housing and their many contractors for the recent project in memory of Karen Lewis, a much loved member of their team and a greatly missed member of CCHB church family. The community centre’s paint work has been refreshed inside and out! The graveyard has been mown, trees trimmed, memorials weeded and hedging cut back for easier access and the Woodland area has had a spruce up.
Over 800 work hours was given voluntarily by Karen’s colleagues, many of whom travelled from across the UK to be involved. Contractors supplied all necessary equipment and materials including ‘feeding the 5000’ at lunchtimes!!
Do come and enjoy the space.
Would you like to become part of CCHB gardening team?
From Wednesday 7th September we will meet at 2pm in the Woodland area (through the graveyard path to the far gate) for an hour or so. Please do join us!
Please drop off any Christian Aid donation envelopes for their virtual work in Ukraine and other areas to the Parish Office or by visiting their donation website here!
Many thanks!
We have resumed collecting ‘cash on the plate’ on Sundays. Cash donations at other times can be put into the wall safe at the back of the Church.
If you currently contribute in this way, please consider switching to standing order. Use the form here or contact your bank direct. You can also use this form if you would like to increase an existing standing order.
