We are a welcoming church with very strong community networks.
Our aim is to celebrate and share the Good News of God’s love for us in Christ through worship, teaching, learning, and practical action.

We are members of W.E.N. and there are lots of ways you can get involved to improve our quality of life.

The School for Monastic Living is an important aspect of the Northumbria Community, which is a worldwide, Christian Community committed to a new way for living. The following link takes you to a page which explains how prayers will be lead:

Our church is partnered with the Church Mission Society and Lynn Treneary is teaching English at Chaima Christian Institute and serving the church in various ways.
We have been awarded Eco-Church bronze and silver award and we are currently working towards gold!
September 1st marks the start of the Season of Creation, a world wide Church celebration of this beautiful world we live in. The A Rocha family has made this film of Psalm 65.
We have an active men in sheds group which meets frequently in the Beb Shed.
We collect donated tools, refurbish them, sort them into trade kits and send them across the world for livelihood creation.
Faiths4Change Make do and Mend project is about reducing, reusing and recycling in crafty creative ways. Lots of ideas are shared for things to do at home.

Dear Friends,
Great News! The clergy and the PCC at Christ Church have made the decision that we will start to welcome our church family back into the building from Sunday 14th March at both our 8.30am and 10.00am services. Social distancing will remain in place and the live streaming will continue. It will be great to see those who feel able to attend in person
The church building will still be open throughout the week for private prayer between 10am and 7pm.

We are going to keep the outside lights on until the clocks go forward. We know that these lights bring some comfort and hope in the dark evenings.
